FORTY-EIGHTsie

[Sorry for Landon’s post being a day late, but this sick mama was too busy to blog yesterday.]

On Tuesday, Landon hit the 11-month mark. Is my baby boy really less than a month from being 1-year-old? I am in full-on party planning mode and loving it! However, with each item I cross off my party to-do list, I get so taken back. I can't believe this much time has already flown by. I feel very blessed, though, that we have a happy, healthy baby and I'm able to plan his 1st birthday extravaganza!

Landon spent his 48th week doing (& perfecting) what he does best:  talking, crawling, playing, eating, sleeping, etc. His speech development is improving tremendously. He is catching on and understanding some of the words that we say, so it’s fun to see his reaction when we talk to him. We don’t use baby talk when we’re communicating with him, so he will learn the right language! He’s catching on to the word “NO!”…since he hears it enough.  

Bath time is such an event in our household. Landon LOVES it, and I love getting home from work in time to spend that quality time with my sweet boy. Last night during bath time, he kept dipping his entire face into the water. He would then look up (face filled with suds and water) and just start giggling at me. He is such a happy baby and we love seeing him learn new things and begin to understand his environment more. 

Landon is continuing to walk with the assistance of everything. He hasn’t tried to take any steps alone yet, but he can stand alone for a few seconds! He is still trying to share his food with Colby any chance he gets. Where do you think Colby is while Landon is in his high chair?



CAUGHT!

Unfortunately, Landon had to deal with the disappointment of his mommy's Redskins losing. Ah well, at least he still has his daddy's team to cheer for!
