Wow, here is a link-up that I haven't participated in for a while! Let's get right to it!
ITS OK...
...To be happy and sad all at the same time about my little man turning 1 tomorrow.
...To have not gone to the Super Bowl, even though my husband bought 2 tickets.
...To take tomorrow off, since my son only has 1 1st birthday and I want to spend as much time with him as possible!
...To get annoyed when people (my husband especially) badger us me about when we're having another child. It's sweet the first few times...but c'mon people. It'll happen when we're I'm ready.
...To be the over-the-top mom when it comes to every little detail of Landon's 1st birthday party [I mean honestly, who orders personalized water bottle labels? This momma does].
...To have 2 1-year photo shoots lined up for Landon. His first is tomorrow. Can't wait!
...To wait to go to sleep until 11:30 every night, so I watch at least 1 episode of FRIENDS on nick @ nite.
...To pray everyday that Landon grows up to be a respectful man, just like his daddy.
...To feel like we completely just renovated our house right before Landon's party. It was a total coincidence that it happened this way, but at least things are getting done.
I get annoyed when people badger my husband and me about when we're going to have our FIRST child...I can only imagine it gets worse when they're asking about another one!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I were badgered about when we're having our first child before we even got engaged! Now that we're married, I can't even mention an off day with my stomach without hopeful eyes popping up around me from the in-laws! They always want more, huh?

ReplyDeleteWe've only been married almost 2 years this July, still have to get some things figured out before we have kiddos and people don't like that response when we tell them! Do it when you are ready, not anyone else because some of those ppl may disappear once the babies do come.
