This Is Me

Since I have some new followers (thanks everybody!) that may not know me as well, I thought it would be fun to do a little intro about me so we can get to know each other better. 

I’m a northern Virginia gal transplanted to Baltimore for the sake of love. I met my hubs through my sister-in-law (& best friend) in undergrad. It was the typical Cinderella story…

Boy drives to his sister’s college for a weekend of partying.

Drunk girl spots drunk boy across the room at a party and asks him to dance (because she felt sorry for him for not really knowing anyone). 

Boy says no. 

Girl gets mad and walks away. 

Boy goes after girl saying he is crazy and wants to dance. 

Girl reluctantly dances with boy. 

Girl and boy become friends. 

Boy asks girl out 43875439802 times before she finally says yes. 

Girl falls in love with boy during their first date. 

Boy & girl marry in 2008 and have their first child in 2012.

Yes, our dog has her own Ravens jersey.

I love to be sassy and not follow the rules. I love to work out. I love to eat healthy (and indulge in dark chocolate). I love to cook. I'm OCD. I love to love on my hubs. I love to travel. I love lattes. I love to spoil my friends and family. I love my marketing job. I’m obsessed with my adorable son (shocker, I know). I love dogs. I love that my son and dog have the best & cutest relationship ever. I love designer everything. I love wine. I love I'm obsessed with the show FRIENDS. I love my Redskins, even though I’m being “forced” to be a Ravens fan (thank goodness they’re not in the same NFL division, otherwise you’d be hearing the sweet sound of divorce bells. HA!).

Like most “mommy bloggers,” my blogging goal when I first started was to keep far away friends and family updated on my pregnancy and life with our new baby. I feel so blessed that it has turned into so much more than that. I love the friends that I have made and experiences I’ve had so far. I love that people care and can relate to what I’m writing (and vice versa). Thanks to everyone that follows along with our fabulous life and my random rambles. It gets crazier by the minute, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
